Super Mario Party!!
Mario Party!! I have been trying to convince the boys to do this party for YEARS and Banner finally asked for a Mario themed party!! Woohoo!
I love using streamers as part of the backdrop! It can be time consuming but it is cheap and always looks good after! I got the cloud backdrop on Wish!
I always spend a lot of time making things out of paper for parties, but especially this one!! I was pretty proud of everything I made though! Every decoration you see I made out of poster boards! The coins are paper plates from the dollar store.
I have always been a huge Mario fan and still love to play (I had to buy my own Switch cuz I hated sharing with my kids haha) so I was super excited to do this theme!
The spread!! And I love my Yoshi treat bags! Again, just from the dollar store and a bit of paper.
Goomba Pudding Cups
Piranha Plant Skewers
Fire Ball Buns
Power-Up Cookies and Fire Flower Veggies
Super Star Krispies and Cappy Cheese (I love these little guys so much! Just a few dressed up Baby Bells!)
Cupcakes! Aren’t these hilarious!? I found an Etsy shop that makes these, that is my Banner boy’s face and he LOVED these!
We played Pin-the-Star...
Had a Yoshi Egg Hunt to save Princess Peach (or Queen Elsa if you don’t have a Peach doll in hand haha)
And had water balloon fight with “fire and ice balls”
And of course no party is complete to my children without a PiƱata!
The kids and Grandpa with their Mario moustaches!
This year was a little different, it was just family thanks to Covid-19! But we all had blast together anyway. And in our city kids can sign up to have the Police/Firemen do a little drive-by parade on their birthday!! It was so cute and meant so much to Banner! He felt so special.
Banner is the sweetest kid on this planet and we love his stinkin guts!! Happy 6th Birthday bug!
